head unit problem

I have a standard 2005, mk2 clio, the head unit seems to turn itself off after half and hour of being on, just a small noise, then off

anyone have the answer?

well its an update list one, so I want to keep ot for the aux and to use the steering wheel controls

you can buy a cable for around £20 that lets you get a new headunit and still use the controls on the wheel

check the wiring. im just guessing here lol. the headunit will shut itself off after about 1/2 hour if the cars not running. maybe theres a broken link somewhere that tells the radio that

check the ignition live,
or just run a wire from the battery live to the ignition live, and see if it turns off again

prob a fuse small 15 amp one about 2nd from top on second from the left

got it sorted, it was the fuse
