Can anyone recommend a nice Sony, or other mp3 head unit around £120 possibly with bluetooth that works with the stalk controls in a Renault Clio! Thankyou!

Sony MEX-BT2500 BLUETOOTH STEREO

Just bought one for my buck fuddy - £70 NEW on ebay plus p+p not sure about the steering wheel controls but it does have a remote control

Why would you need stalk controls when you have a remote ????

Im sure pioneer starts at around £160 for their units may have to increase your budget I used to own a 65bt pioneer and was not a fan of the bluetooth the Sony above you can't complain at that price

who would want an annoying infared remote you have to point at the unit? my friend has one, its no where near as quick and easy as the stalk controls! you sound like someone who does not have them!

Had em both all my pioneers have had em and the last 2 pioneers i had the steering wheel controls fitted too (only cause i got the cables with one of the HU') Had both sterring wheels remote control which i did not like and the remote control did NOT need to be pointed at the HU to work it used mine often and had more control over the HU than with the steering wheel controls

Next time i'll not bother giving you my experiences since nobody else answered you question

Thankyou for that, that looks like a very nice radio, have you seen/ used one? and can you confirm it does work in the Clio??

Whats sound quality like from a Blaupunkt? only ever realy used Sonys and Ripspeed (crap!!)

No idea what they are like to use etc mate im a pioneer man myself

Its the only way i can see of you getting close to the budget you mention
The links for the controls are for the clio 1998 - 2005 so should be fine but a quick call to them will confirm this for definate if in doubt

Connectors will be around £40 for the two - Easy enough to fit aswell

I have owned a similar model to this before and i highly rate Pioneer and they are always my first choice when im looking

no havent ordered them yet, same price in Halfords, so i decided to jus get radio and check it fits nice and i like it first! Just got my Subscription for here paid as well YAY
