If they are xenon's then get a quote from Renault, and also Euro car parts ( As they do good makes like osram) . Don't be tempted to buy the cheap Chinese ones from ebay :nono:, they have been known to cause fires :dead:

I've had the bulbs that came with the car which were OK but far from what I expected for xenon bulbs in a brightness perspective.

Then some really blue ones from a HID kit which looked the part but were shocking for visibility.

Now I'm running Osram Xenarcs which are pricey bulbs (£90 per pair) but they are fantastic. More white than blue, only has a slight tinge of blue around the edge of the beam but the light output/visibility is awesome! My friend has the Philips bulbs which I believe are half the price and he says great things about them but I've not driven his car in the dark to compare.

if there xenons got mine for around £18 posted and they are top quality, 4300k is standard, I went for 5000k anything brighter I think will be blinding to others

The K's relate to the colour temp, not the brightness.

My Xenarcs are rated at 4300K, think my previous blue bulbs were about 6700K.

The Xenarcs are quite cheap here http://www.powerbulbs.com/product/xenarc-d2s-single?gclid=CJamwOiCsbwCFQgHwwodQVoArg

I can't vouch for the company/site though as I've never bought from there. Those D2S are the Clio ones if yours are definitely xenon.

Another vote here for 5000k from http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/d2s-35w-hid-xenon-bulb-set/ Better , brighter light than the oem 4700k imo .

If it's a FF 172 it'll have Xenons fitted as standard , if it's a cup it won't , unless someone fitted after market ones . You'll know the difference by the colour of the light , usually a bright white light opposed to standard bulbs which are more yellow.

Okay thanks, guessing I'll know when I take the bulb out and looks different to standard bulb , hids-direct bulbs they good then? Direct fit

Again you should be able to tell by the colour

or you will tell because you will have a black ignitor pack on the back and yes the bulb will be different to a standard bulb
