Headlight bulbs not sitting correctly

  Renault Clio Mk3
I had my two headlights replaced because of damage and ever since then I can't get my bulbs to shine properly. I've bought new bulbs incase the others were faulty and no joy, tried parking up against a wall when dark and adjusting them but they seem to only shine down so when I'm driving I only get a little bit of the road litten up instead of what I should be getting. Any solutions?

Ps: it's a Mk3

Not too familliar with the mk3 headlights but the mk2s had all sorts of clips and bits that could fall off. Make sure you have all of them and check if they're damaged. My mk2s have adjustable levels. If it's the same with mk3s you may need to attach the lights, raise them, disconnect the lights, lower the level again, reattach the lights and raise the level. If they're still too low, rinse repeat. Can't tell you how many times I've done this to get my lights raised or on the same level
