Headlight fallen out!!

Hi,

On the way to college this mornin, my glass headlight shield decided to fall out and smash!! Does anyone know whether I can just replace the glass shield, or do I have to get a whole new headlight?

Ive got a mk1 Clio, 1.2 mate.

This is a very common fault on early clios - the sealant around the headlight deteriates at this time of the year due to cold weather and condensation causing the lense to fall out. You cannot get a glass seperate its a complete unit im afraid - 2nd hand £25 + vat or brand new £40 + vat - pm me to order one

This happened to me, Im guessing yours is a Mk1 phase 3.

Yes, you need a whole new headlight im afraid.

Same happened here - i had to tape it for a week before i got a new one! lol! looked like my car had a black eye! lol!

I got a brand new one from GSF - good people!
