This on a 182? If so open the bonnet and look down the back of the headlight and you'll see a white nut/clip type thing tht sits on top of the headlight adjuster. Stick and allen key in it and turn it to the left/right which should point the light up/down, just turn it so it sits level with the driver's side. Best to park facing a wall or something for reflection.
I bought Angel eyes for my car... i had the same prob they were both too high, managed to get one down but the left one was far too high and was blindin people , took them out and put the old ones bk in.. now the company wont give me my money back, cos i recon they arent for my car
again check that the bulb is sitting in its unit properly, as when i changed one of my bulbs on the old car, i didnt put it in right and it was a precautionary on my mot, because it was sitting too high
As far as im awear its in correctly but will check for deffo tomorrow, its doing my head in cops where I live will stop me straight away if I drive round at night with them like this.
All sorted was the ball and socket for the allignment motor had popped out, gotta wait til its dark to make sure its deffinatly right.
Thanks for your suggestions
Had same sort of prob with mine, when i had the car lowered both headlights were pointing at the floor, after a while i found the cause! it was the electric motor that self levels the lights, it had run all the way off the end of the adjuster causing the lights to drop to there lowest point. I took the motor's off both lights opened them up and hand wound them back on, i then re-fitted them back onto the headlights, they were perfect for about 2 seconds then the self leveler motor spun them off again!! So after doing the above 3 times i then decided to dissconnect the power to the motor and just leveled the lights manual (using the white nut while parked facing a wall) Now they are ok they just dont have the self leveler as i have left it dissconnected.
(if anyone know's a better way round this let me know, im sure im not the 1st to have come accross this)
