Headlight removal instructions

Does anyone have any instructions to remove the xenon headlights from a 172?

you have to remove the whole front bumper.

Edit: Just looked in the guides section and there doesn't appear to be one for the lights or bumper. I've also checked Dan's (fubar) site and he has none either.

You might get lucky and someone will tell you how though.

Was just about to reply and say that there are no guides for bumper or light removal but yo beat me to it.

Arch lining of front wheels out....by pulling a few plug type things out..they are under the splitter too.
pull the arch liner right back to reveal a bolt which hold the ends of the bumper in place.repeat other side. Then undo couple of bolts on top of grill and pull back the grill to reveal a couple more bolts. the front should pull off...make sure you have something to put it on..like cardboard.

Sorry if this is a bit vague..but thats all I can remember.


Oh yeah this is for a 1.2 but I should imagine they are roughly the same.
