Headunit Help Please (Alpine or JVC?)

  V6 230
Hi,

I am after a new headunit and have narrowed it down to my favourite two:

Alpine iDA-X001

JVC: KD-AVX2

JVC-KD-AVX2.jpg

I have seen good reviews on both but am undecided and have a couple of questions:

Would the Alpine work with the standard CD changer under the drivers seat?

Which would anyone reccomend?

Thanks for your help :)

I have got the JVC KD its mint, but i tried linking it to the Cd changer but doesnt seem to work i dont understand why tho theres got to be someway of making it work.

I would personally go for Alpine as the sound quality is most likely higher.

Nothing works with the original changer other than the original head unit

Apline all day every day. If you are into iPod, no competition. I have had 2 of those iDA-X001's.

Cool think i will go for the Alpine then, only have a nano at the moment but that will do for a few months then may get the new 80Gb's.

Is the sound quality really much better than say the JVC or simelar?
It does look smart which tbh is the main reason i like it lol
