Heated Mirrors On My Cup

got in to the car yesterday and it was a little frozen so let it warm a little then noticed that the mirrors where steaming .

i didn't know that the cup or the clio in general had heated mirrors . ??

if they're electric, in general they're heated

yes they do outside temperature related i think

cool . but i thought with mine being the lowdown cheapo clio version that they may not have anything like that . lol

I thought they only worked when you turned the back window thing on ??

Yep as mentioned they come on when you put your rear window on.

All electic mirror one have them. even my little DCi.

I've just read had a look in the clio handbook, and it says

''Heated rear screen

This function ensures the de-icing and demisting of the rear screen and the heated external rear view mirrors [if the vehicle is fitted with them]''

That doesn't really answer my question, but surely at time of press the MK2 172 [Mines a 52 plate] was the best clio on the market, bar the V6 for gadgets?
