heater fan not working

got in car tonight to come home from the gym and heater fan suddenly stopped working, it didnt work on the strongest setting when i got it but now it isnt working at all!

what do u think the problem will be ?

check the fuse,then repalce the resistor pack bout 30quid from renault.common prob on em.oil the fan too stop it sieezing

Is it quite straightforward to replace the resistor pack ?

Not always that thats at fault.

My old RT had a rusty plug connector.

If you take off the wipers and the cowling, you get access to the wiper motor and the heater fan. You can also see the resistor. Theres a big plug that connects it all (from memory I think thats right). The pins inside the plug on mine had corroded a bit.

Switch the fan on and give this plug a wiggle. Mine came on after that. Had to get a new plug from a scrappy for £5. Sorted it out though.
