heater matrix WONT be the cause of this as it has no electrical connections its just a radiator.
it will either be 1. the fan (under the wipers)
2. the uch has a loose connection
3. the internal wiring loom resister has burnt out
how confident are you with diagnosing the fault yourself?
The problem is this.
When I put the fans on no air blows out. If I select hot air it changes to hot air and cold air if I swap it to that.
If I put AC it doesn't come out any cooler.
So basically there is no force behind the fan.
My father checked the fuses - They are ok.
He then pulled the panel out and checked if there was any power going to it and there was, he followed the leads into the engine(just under the wipers) there was power there and when he fiddled it around, the fan came back on for a second. He thinks it could be the Heater Matrix but this is a guess. He has a good knowledge of cars - be it older modules, but he is taking a guess at it being the heater matrix.
Any ideas?
