heater not working

heated hasnt worked for a few weeks now and when it does once in a while its only slightly warm air.

im sure there is load of things it could be, but have no idea how to narrow it down

any ideas

did have a look at that was too sure because it was a older 1.2 not a 172. is heater matrix a big job?

No fella. As for as I am aware its just behind the dash
