Hey
Got my car back from SRS today, Seems my Non heating issue is due to the flap motor not getting told what to do. They first thought it was down to the control panel but they tried a working one and it didn't work again.
I have watched the motor when I try to get from hot to cold and indeed it doesn't move a milimeter.
I turned the Motor and it does turn (albeit very stiff).
The chaps at SRS said they plugged it into their computer and it throws out a bunch of odd information (no more detail into that) and they feel its a more in-depth electrical issue and I need to take it back for a good few hours to diagnose the problem. I'm not too fussed with this but I wont be able to get it to them for 7 weeks due to work (work in a school so get summer off).
Does anyone have any ideas on this issue? Anything to look into? some sorta manual flap mover i can make? < (getting silly now)
I'm not against buying a new motor and seeing if it is indeed a dead motor, or I could simply plug it into a 12V battery and see if it moves (will that work?)...
Any help will be appreciated.
