heatshrinking loom, how?

After seeing @NorthloopCup and @Tomotek build threads and looking at the sorry state of my underbonnet wiring (the I'll fix that later effect......)

How do you go about it?

Depinning plugs I guess after figuring out the run.
Is the glue lined shrink used for the whole length of the wire or just the ends?

is there a comprehensive list of the plugs used (in case I F*ck up)?

Full de-pin of the plugs when I did mine. It was also custom, so didn’t have to worry about getting it back in the correct place as per oe.

I don’t have a list for any plugs or terminals mate.

As Mark said, full de pin of the connectors.

Just be patient when you do it, it’s fiddly and you don’t want to break the retaining clips in the connectors or you’ll risk wires coming out when driving.
