hey hope you can i help, i have a sony 2/1 channel amp (200watt) and i have bridged a mutant 12 sub (700watt max power) to it now this is the second sub i have had on this amp and i connected it all up it ran for about 2mins and then just sort of switched off. the same thing happened with the last sub i had and i could not get it foxed or know how to fix it. i ran 6x9 speakers of the amp and one worked but the other did not. the earth cable is fine as is the remote and power leads as the amp is swithing on. cant figure out why sub is not working. any ideas people im getting p***** off now and might just get rid of it all. HHEELLPPP

try another set of rca it could be a faulty amp being sony would'nt be at all surprising does it go into protection at all?

What restitance is the sub running at? Can your amp run that load?
