Heko deflectors

Just wondered if anyone could help on this, put some heko deflectors in on my mk3 clio yesterday, all fitted fine, but down the front of the door bit by the mirror where it's fitted it seems to be closer to the window on the passenger side than it is on the drivers side, is this just a manufacturing fault or? Doesn't stop the window going up or anything just thought it was odd that they are different distances from the window at that point on them?

Mine are exactly the same on my Abarth 500 mate.

Ever had any problems with it? Don't want it being too close and causing problems that's all, but it's reassuring to hear it's not just mine that are like it! Manufacturing problem then? Slightly too big one side maybe?
