172 Hillclimb/Sprint
Hi guys, new member here, from lichfield.
I purchased a clio 1.4 about a month ago, solid little runner. but it had had a light knock to the front bumper so i got her fairly cheap with plans to tidy her up.
So far i've colour coded the side strips and the rear spoiler. The alloys are in a pretty sorry state, they are 182/172 wheels, i really should learn which ones they are exactly, but they have been sprayed black, badly i might add and the middle badges were blue, so im hoping to refurb them : ) or get some pro race 1.2's on. Nothing major planned short term, but long term im hoping to do a track build on either this car or prehaps sell her when shes fettled up and get a 172/182.. though she could be quite a quick little motor for a 1.4 engine, lots of potential. spent the best parts of 2 months tidying up the garage getting all the right tools for the job, prep is key! and ofc if this happens i would be doing a build up thread. Ill get some pics up shortly.
