Hello everyone...!

  Clio 197
Hey guys, finally decided to make my first post on the forum!

I signed up a while ago when i was thinking about Clio 172's and the like, and have finally decided to go for it and enjoy a fun car while I can - started off looking at 172's, but decided I'd rather push my budget to the newer 182's.

I'm also looking for a bit of advice. Tomorrow i'm planning to go to a used car dealer to check out a 182, and had a few questions about its pricing. The car is an 05 plate and has done around 72,000 miles and claims a full service history with recent cambelt change (hoping that will include aux belt as well - especially at this age?), also claims cup pack (spoiler + alloys) and is supposed to be in very good condition.

The price is £3,993. How reasonable is this? What sort of figure should I be looking at for a car like this? It's a small family run used car business, not a main dealer or anything big time. I also have a car that I'd prefer to part ex and have been offered 2,500 for it as a straight sale to Evans Halshaw, so thinking around this mark is fair given that a diesel Corsa is probably a better prospect to a car seller than a high performance French car ;) (it's a 2004 turbo diesel Corsa with 59,000 miles on).

Is mileage much of an issue if the car seems to have been looked after?

Thanks people, it's good to be here

Well, I went along to view the car and it was stunning...great condition, full service history, both belts done with the kits last year etc. etc. so I ended up putting a deposit down on it...guys on holiday until next Monday so should be picking it up sometime next week!
