Clio Mk 2 Ph1
Hi.
My names Dan, and my g/f has just bought a 1998 Renault Clio 1.2 RN. It's done just over 61k, 2 owners plus a full history.
It is her car by rights, but i'll be driving it too. We're both looking to mod it a little but nothing silly as it's only a 1.2. The passenger door and wing needed respraying when she got it, so we had those done and all the bumper/door strips too. It's got clear repeaters on it now, and some newer Clio alloys (15" that look like the 16"'s on the Sport models). There's also some audio in there too (always been into good car audio). Here's a link to the Photobucket page on with some pics etc (aswell as the before/after pics at the bottom of the page). It's quite a nice little motor for what it is i must confess!
We want to lower it a little as the body roll is a bit too much. New shocks were fitted just over 4 months ago, so we're just looking for a 30mm drop or something. We'd also like to change the headlights for the 'Sport' headlights of the same Mark/Phase, but i'll post in the appropriate section later
I drive a Volvo 480 Turbo-nice car and different. It's had an ECU remap, lowered, stereo etc. It's my pride and joy, and being a member of Detailing World helps me keep it gleaming 95% of the time lol. I am a bit of a cleaning freak with motors...lol.
Im more the internet user, so despite being her car really, i'll be the one posting, which is fine-gives me something to do whilst Eastenders, Corrie, Emmerdale, X-Factor, Dancing On Ice, Tranny and Susannah etc etc etc is on lol.

After re-spray and some hardcore cleaning (although the wheels need a refurb...)
The audio (the flash seems to have made the carpet look different colours, but it is all black...)
And the reason it needs lowering! :lol:
