Cup 172
Right,
Following on from Frasers post about getting an oil leak, Reno have told him that as part of fixing the leak, they will be changing the Auxiliary belt. Given that mine is due a 36k service soon and given that it had the same oil leak repaired last year, I called my dealer to find out if the belt had been changed.
She told me that yes it had and gave the mileage at the time as 19k, so technically it wont be due until 55k.
Should I skip the belt change at the service? Should I get something in writing to confirm that it was done (for when I come to sell it)?
Also, she referred to it as the fan belt. When I questioned her she said it was the same thing… is that right?
