Hi Everyone,

Sorry to be asking such a stupid question (especially as I work in IT!) but how can I burn a DVD to play on my DVD Player?
I have a pack of DVD+R's and have a DVD ripped onto my computer and there are two folders - VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. I have tried burning them in all different ways and it won't work on my player :(

I am using Nero Express and an LG DVD-RW drive.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Off the top of my head, its bit of a long method!

Download the TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 Trial and turn the Two above folders into an .ISO image.

You should then be able to burn the ISO image to a DVDR using Nero.

If not download DeepBurner, a very simple and free DVD programme. Then burn the .ISO on there.

Use Nero .
Some pics to help .
Click on DVD video
Put the name of the in the box where it says label .
Click on " NEW "
Then locate the dvd on your hard drive .
In my case " d " drive
Then locate the folder on that drive
In the right hand browser it will show the audio_ts and video_ts folder .
Copy and paste them across to the left hand browser where it says AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
Then in the toolbar across the top almost under the word " window " next the icon that looks like a knights helmet , click on this and this will ask you to burn the dvd , options for speed etc .....

No need for TMPGenc . Your only converting dvd fils into iso to burn as dvd files this way . Long winded method imo .

I did it that way and it burns the files onto the disc fine but it won't play on my player. It just says 'No Disc'. When I put it into my pc it wont play it either. :(

I'm off to work now mate or i would help ya some more sorry :(

Look for a copy of clonedvd 2 , that copies and burns a dvd in 5 clicks .
Also look for region free dvd or anydvd . Might be the cause of the problem , It will take off the region code .

some stand alone dvd players don't like +r mind

does it work fine in your pc?

Doesn't work in either of my pc's, Panasonic recordable DVD player or Sony DVD player!

I downloaded that extra software mentioned here and will give that a try later (when I am at home). :)

I managed to get it burned with Nero Express in the end. Also tried with the program mentioned above and that worked as well.
