Help!!! Car won't start

My '02 1.2 16v won't start!! Basically when I turn the ignition nothing happens, except the dials start having a spaz. The speedo seems to flicker loads, then stop.

Battery is definitely fine, lights radio etc all work. Even tried jump starting it, but still nothing.

What could the problem be?!

does the fuel pump prime?

still could be the battery tho matey....
radio and things like that will work.
just needs that extra bit of power to turn the starter.

Like I say, I've tried to jump start it, but still nothing. Calling the RAC out soon.

A slight clunk, then just the spazzing of the dials

Power lead going to amp

disconnect that then try it jump startin it

is there any noise coming from the solanoid near the battery

Bloody hell, RAC are quick!!! 5 mins n they are here! Got it started but battery is ok :S

Battery is on its way out. Still ok for now, but starting to go a bit dodgy
