Help fitting aftermarket speakers

Decided to upgrade the audio as the 20+ year old factory speakers are getting really bad, first plan was to buy component speakers to keep it OEM , but i got afraid to mess with the wiring and now im thinking to buy 2 way speakers and just put it on the doors and disable the factory tweeter on the dash, my question is , does the clio come with some sort of filter for the door speaker, like a crossover ?

Pretty sure the full range is sent to the door speakers. The dash tweeters will have a simple capacitor "crossover" to cut the bass from them

Did you fit the speakers and disable the tweeter - I’m about to fit a 2 way speaker to the door - now wondering if the tweeter will make this process more tricky than it should be! Any info handy.

Hertz speakers will do the job, they have an in-line filter or the tweeters
