Help Me Design My Boot Build!

right ive got the back seats out and a false floor down!

im having bout 3 X 12" JL subs

1 X BBG 1000w amp

want to make everything look neat and tidy and wanna beable to build it myself so no fibreglass!

its possible but you need to make your own boxes.

(and i really dont mean to piss your your fire but why on earth are you running 3 12s? that would sound terrible.)

well im brain stormin but i want at least 3 12" subs and the amp sunk into the floor wit perspex over the top wit neons glowin under the floor jus tryin to figure out how to arrange the subs!

measure the width of the boot

for 12" subs, allow minimum 1.5" to the end of the box all round

so you will be looking 45" for 3x12"

Dont waste cash on 3 subs, buy yourself one f**k off 10 incher.

its more impressive to have crazy bass outta one sub than 3. plus your making life soooo much easier for yourself

well im gonna bring the floor up to boot level so theres no dip when u open the boot! this should also mean i could sink the subs into the floor as well!

might put 2 subs on either side and one sunk into the floor?!

bearing in mind the size of the amp too

seen people squeeze a lot more than 3 subs in a small space!

dont forget i got the whole of the back of i got no back seats!

You can eeeeeeeeeasily fit em in mate!!

Ive got 32" of subs in my boot alone after all!!! lol

Just sketch loadsa designs! Look in mags for inspiration etc..

four subs mate, 2 down each side and amp running down the middle , with trim panels it would look the tits.

2 boxes about 3.5cu/ft tuned to 30hz and it will drop nicely

They are alphatechs , just bigger than an optima but easly out performs 1

Heh, I wanted to do something crazy like this, but getting rid of the rear seats and having it on show, puts me off a lot.

U might struggle for power with 4 subs off that amp

Take alook at Pro Plus nemisis , may be have 1 per pair of subs. We have used them in our SPL cars and there is no better amp for the price and power they give out.

well i got mega dark tints all the way round so u wont be able to see em unless u open the boot!

ah now if i knew you were planning on installing it with a stripped interior, that is a different matter altogether, fit the in easily

but still, multiple 12s is still over kill, personally if i were you id go for 2 huge powered 12s rather thasn 3/4 subs, will sound much better, not too overpowering
