Okay Iv acquired an iphone 4 running 4.3.3.

Iv run redsn0w and that seems to be sorted but I need to unlock it.

Its on O2 i need it to allow orange. whats best way to do this?

Iv done some googling and youtubing and Im geeked out.

Get the person that you acquired it from to ring O2, it's free, or if you can't then you could ring O2 and ask them but I'd guess they will charge or say no.

Other than that your only hope is that the baseband hasn't updated, which it no doubt has.

Get the previous owner to call up, should be free unless still in contract.

Think iv sorted it.

I run ultrasn0w via cydia.

The no service now has a mighty one bar.

Shame this damn same hasnt activated yet...

Yeah its in contract is only a couple of week old.

Then get O2 to do it, it's permanent then and doesn't involve f**king about every time a new baseband comes out.

well for now at least i think its unlocked but truth will be told when the sim activates..

If not il get on the phone to O2.
