Help My Valver is sick :(

Hi all

I have a 1992 Valver which has been fine until recently where if i rev it hard 4000rpm+ the battery light comes on?? and now it seems to flicker even if i'm just plodding along in traffic?? any ideas guys?

Alternator belt? Is is squeeking atall?

When i had my valver i had this exact same problem. It turned out to be the alternator which was over charging

Sounds like something's wrong with the alternator....
