Help! needed gearnob change!

ive got a clio 1.2 dynamique 2004.

does anyone know how to take the gearnob off?

its a lift reverse.

Cut it off

You have to hacksaw or some good mole grips to get the gear stick off.

I take it when you mean the blue cover you mean the one on the 172s ontop of the gear stick showing the gears?

Is so its 60 00 073 675 GEAR LEVER £27.79 ex vat I believe.

once youve got the old one off, how do you attach the new one

Right ive done this with no prior experience. Its easier.

Tools needed. Mole grip/Monkey wrnech styled thing. + Hack Saw.

Saw straight down the middle until u can peek off the outer layer. Then youll see a white thing. Use mole grips and literally keep tryng to wrnech it off until it does. Then ur left with a metal end like pole. All you do is attach the base of ur new one with little screws and alan keys...all shud b provided then screw the new one on. Job done. easier than it sounds.
