Help needed Hazards dont work

Hi thank you for looking i have a problem my 2000 clio sport has failed mot on hazards not working .but if i put ignition on and use the indicator stalk to indicate left or right and then press the hazard switch the hazards work...
if i turn the ignition off no hazards

please please please help its driving me mad

hazards need to work with the ignition off i think mate..... not 100 percent sure , but for safety at the road side i think thats the case

I think the op was wondering if anyone knew why these wouldnt work without ignition on - not arguing the case about why it failed on mot,

Not had experience with this but id be looking at relays first
