Help needed RE Headlight washer

hello all, im just after some help after someone has knicked my headwasher ball/sprayer out of the stem that it sits in. Ive bin to my local renault garage hoping i could just buy a new 1 but u have to buy the whole part for £30 and to fit it they say you have to take off the bumper and fit it from the back which is about £70 + Vat. so i didnt no if someone has had the same experience i found out a cheaper way to resolve this problem???

what thre dealer told you was correct the bumper needs to come off to replace it but can't this be done on warrenty? "it fell off"

they wont have stolen the ball.. they fall out

apparantly when water is in there and the winter weather causes it to freeze, expanding and 'popping' the ball out.

warranty job?

thanx matey for that ill have to get in touch with my local renault garage again & get it booked in for them to fit me a new one. They cant not do it can they???

if its under warranty..

just tell them its fell out.

if they wont do it just say, well its a faulty item and therefore your entitled to it, then contact renault UK and file acomplaint against the dealer.

The same thing has happened to mine, the other day i noticed the right washer ball missing, taking in back to Martins Renault tomorrow for a replacement.
