Help needed with car!

[Deano_Clio1.6_16v]

For a while now my cd player has been cutting out and in. And 1 morning it didn't start! turned out i needed a new battery! Put in a new battery which has been ok for about 3 weeks, but when the headlights come on or when i try to use something electrically all in car electrics die for about 3 seconds ans the stop service light comes on and the abs light!!!! Very worried please help!

hmm, i know nothing about car electrics, go to renault mate, is it under warranty??

sounds like alternator can't handle the strain.. and although its working.. its not increasing output to the amount you require... if its under warranty then back to renault. and if not a lot of places will do alternator checks cheaply or free if you agree to buy the replacement from them/get it refurbed with them.

yea that sounds like a alternator problem... faulty coils in there or something prob
