help needed

I'm upgrading my head unit in my 182 and was wondering is there anyway of keeping the control's on the steering wheel working ????

Autoleads do a cable that plugs into the back of your clock/temp display and into your headunit. It comes in two parts; one part goes into the back of the clock/temp display (This part depends on your car) and the second goes into the first part and is dependant on what the brand of the headunit is.
Halfords sell them for a quite a good price

I think this one is for PH2, but the best thing to do is just go into Halfords and find out

Adapters are available yes, just make sure you get the correct one for the year of your car. "Tuner list" and "Update list" are two different systems.

If your getting a sony HU this is a great bit of kit, no re-wiring the remote, just plug in the yellow adaptor and your stalk works and so does the display. I am extremely impressed with the unit.

Your original unit must be tunerlist.

The cd player must have the cd changer input and remote output, if your not sure post up your model number.

i think that the little black port which looks like a ear phone port is the one your after fella

Yeah, it's 3.5mm jack socket.

The adaptor i used should work, it uses the 2 connections in the bottom right corner.

Not guaranteeing anything but imo it should work.

sony connects 2 ones for stalk and display
if you want stalk and display the unit required the blue 3.5mm jack and the port next to it is the changer port-both are needed
you can get just stalks for about half the cost
