Help Needed

  Supercharged S2000
Hi Guys, im new to this forum so not too sure if im posting in the correct section.

Im looking to by a clio sport, my budget is around 3500.00. i was wondering if some one could take a look at the below link. i was meant to go and look at this however was told it went for a service and it needed a new timing valve? he was then meant to meet me last night however did not reply to my texts and calls...

The price is cracking consiering the millage? however once i did a HPI on this it came up saying it had 6 previous owners, surely thats alot for such low millage?
Let me know what you think...

I mean it could be fine im just curious as i dont want to buy it and it to go wrong the next day...

I then have another option, a clio cup which is up the road...

Cambelt has been done and full history, however do you think this is over priced? Im sure i could get him down on it as the market seems up and down.

Sorry for the essay Ha... would appriciate all your thoughts.

Both overpriced IMO mate, take your time and be patient and you'll be able to get a 2003 172 / Cup with 50-70k miles for £3500 easily.

I sold my excellent condition, 53 plate Cup in Iceberg Silver with 70k for £3500 about 8 months ago.

In fact, I don't know if you can browse the classifieds as a forum user, but have a look in there... I can see 4 Clios on the first page alone that would be worth a closer look.

If you can't view that forum, pay the tenner and become a member. It'll be worth it for a better quality car, trust me.

Yeah, part-exchanging always makes things easier and I suppose you have to give a bit on price if it saves the hassle of advertising for months!

Comparing the two that you've linked to, to the ones in the classifieds that I can see, I'd definitely say they can reduce on price a bit. Maybe just print a few example adverts of cheaper / better priced ones and use them as bargaining tools?
