Help needed

Hey guys me again just when I thought things were looking up the old girl does on mbasically broken down and recovery guy said bottom end has gone or something along those line he basically said I need a new engine. Is this true and if so an anyone recommend someone who can do this cheers for reading kris.

What was happening leading up to you breaking down? Loss of power, noise, smoke, etc?
Generally if a bottom end goes it will have been making a "knocking" noise.

Just made a knocking noise like a rattling mate then power died then recovery of car new engine is looking that way though.

9/10 it'll be cheaper putting a new engine in mate.

ouch, sounds expensive!! but as said, finding another engine will be cheaper than rebuilding yours!!

if youre lucky youll be able to find a bare 1*2 engine with a recent belt change for not very much and away you go!

or theres a bottom end on the bay for £50 if you can change the head yourself!

Yea I kno mate it's finding one though and getting it put in finding one should be ok putting it in there is the fun job.
