help, new tyres!!!!

right i need new tyres, was going to go for toyo proxies! on mytyre they are £36 a corner. but im not sure on the size as i got a 16v clio ph 2 original alloys, i want 185 50 15. or 185 45 15???? but they only come up with 195 50 15? is that right?? please help me someone!!!

Do you mean they should be 185/55/15? That was standard size on Mk1 Valvers and Williams.

I've never heard of 185/50/15 or 185/45/15, but you can fit 195/50/15s instead of 185/55/15s as they are virtually identical rolling radius and are about half the price, but it does affect the handling.

Oh, and don't get proxes, they're s**t

Get Eagle F1 GSD2 (in 185/55/15) or GSD3 (in 195/50/15) and you won't go back

mate i got a ph2 clio, and i dont no what size wheels to order, are proxies that bad then? ill check out the eagles lol!! u recomend 195 50 15 then? cheers mate

not bad, £40 a corner from my tyre, does that seem a good price???thats for the eagle F1 GSD3 195/50/15

I really recommend you do at least go and look at your tyres to see what size they are before spending anything!!

£40 is about right for the 195/50/15s though. Expect to pay near £60-70 for the 185/55/15s.

yeh im going to go check, just my car is at home and im at work atm so not possible to look till tonight, was just after some recomended sizes really! its all good on price as council is paying due to the massive potholes i have to drive through ever day, going to try for new alloys off them aswell as there fecked from it too!!!
