I know Adam on here did, but I don't know if he got it all working.

Are you any good with electrics? You may be able to get it going with a mutlimeter.

How many wires for each?

I've done this on mine and once all the trim is off it's not too hard to work out what wire does what. We did do it in a bit of a rush though so the connections could be improved as we cut the cars loom and then cut the ph2 loom out of the boot. One day i'll go through and shrink wrap them properly. If you had all the time in the world you could feed the original loom into the new boot properly.

As for the extra wire, i think it was something to do with the locking mech. The phase 1 has a key lock, but the ph2 doesn't.

When I changed my rear loom it took 2 minutes to get it from the boot back into the car :S and about 5 to get the new loom in.

if you've already cut the looms and now your having trouble matching up wires as their different colours, couldn't you just look at the connector on each loom, look at the colour wires going into it and match it up that way.

managed to get the wiper and lock working now, thanks guys, pulled away all the trim and retraced the original and new wires.

if the ph2 doesnt have a key lock then how does it lock? just throught the central lock? do you have to change anything from the ph1 lid to get it to lock?
