Steering Column Rubber Boot ** ARGHHHH **

Hi all.

Wasn't too sure where to post this, but seeing as it came off the back of me replacing the gearbox, it shall live here!!

Is there a trick to refitting the gaiter / boot at the bottom of the steering column (inside the car).

Its made a bit more difficult as the roll cage has side bars so I'm twisting myself like a pretzel, but my fingers and thumbs are giving all they have to give and it won't fully seat at the top.

Any help appreciated!!

Its this bit circled in green that I'm struggling to locate. I'm assume all of the "fingers" should push through the bulkhead? 🤷‍♂️
