Help please! 1.2 clio

Recently my car has kept on going Into this 'limp home mode'?? Or something. This light below (pictured) comes on occasionally and the car will either stop or not go above 30.
Any ideas what it could be? Please help!

Does the 'STOP' light come on when you apply the handbrake?

Looks like you've got an electrical fault with the braking system.

Nope, it's the little yellow light that's the issue. Never had the stop light come on before. I've read up about it and its dampness getting In somewhere. It only ever happens when it's rained and usually if I go out and spray every bloody sensor with wd40, it'll fix it and it won't happen again until HEAVY rain. Bloody annoying. Will get it plugged in next week I think

i have this happen too occasionally, did you manage to find out what the problem was ?

Spray a sensor, see if the light is on, spray another ... until you find it. Then see whats leaking onto it or replace it.

My old 1.2 used to do that, the light came on when you was at low revs sometimes then the car would rev it self and if you didn't keep it about 1 1/2 revs it used to cut out, never did it again after I changed my coilpack and plugs

I get this but I have codes saying TPS + Knock sensor, You'll need to get a code reader on it really mate

My car hasnt done this for a while now after i sprayed every bloody sensor i could find. Only does it when it gets a bloody good soaking though so may well do it again. A recent tip a mate of mine reccomended was, spray the sensors and all the connections, leave to dry and then over the connection itself put a bit of tape over it (only a little, dont cake it in the stuff!) and it should stop all water seeping in. Going to give it a try when i can be bothered! Still gonna get it plugged in asap though.

my 1.2 did this, plugged it in and turned out to be throttle peddle, just make sure the plug is connected in firmly or get another one cheap.
