Help Please

Basically in the middle of fitting my cup soiler to car, anyway I have to modify wiring to fit cup brake light, so I did a test fit to check it all works and now my brake lights and trip computer dont work, all i get on the dash is the imobiliser flashing lights and indicators.
I have replaced both UCU and Brake light fuses but still doesnt work.
What should I do?

Did you have the battery disconnected before you cut the plug off the end of the wires?

No mate, but I have worked out that the fuses have done so I will make sure everything is back together and replace the fuses fingers crossed it should work
