have taken the front splash guards out the front of my clio ( 2000 reg) and apparantly this has caused a problem in the fuse box with water getting in.

is this atall possibly true?!?1

Possible I guess, but lots of people take the sh*t-guards out and I dont remember anyone mentioning problems in thhe past. I ran my car without them for a few weeks (smashed them on a cone at a trackday  ) and the only side-effect was a bit more wind-noise.

o right cus the probelm i had is that i shorted some fuses and people who fixed it blamed it on the fact that the sh*t guards were not on the front and water had got in.

but i thort that loadsa people had taken them out and i wudnbt have thort that a bit of plastic under your wing wud be the protection for the interior electrical bits and bobs!

my drivers side front has gone... I was thinking the same about taking it out completely... suppose I would have to do the other side so it matched tho.

Lack of arch liner affect the structural strength of the front bumper, which in turn affects areodynamics... or so I have been told
