Hi My name is Matt a.k.a Ricey I have a saxo at the moment. But I have spotted a nice Clio mk1 1.8 16v in max power and its for sale its red M reg and on 19s does anyone know whos it is and if its still for sale. As I am very interested in buying it.

i wouldnt mate, two reasons

1) its in max power so prob about £600+ overpriced,

2) its on 19s, it will be sh*tslow and look pap!

get in the trader mate or off here, far better examples at better prices!

I quite like it though. It is a nice colour and I like the mods it has. I might go and see it, just wondering if anyone knows the guy! My Saxo is pictured below:

Whats so good about it.

If its on 19"s that will just mean your gonna get alot of suspension trouble with it and it will be very very slow your looking at maybe getting to 60 in 10 seconds.

And if its for sale in max power you can guess what the previous owner was like with it

Yer I know its a risk to take but I am the person who is not after speed but a show car!

Personally i wouldnt buy a car from a max power type as is most likely been given death all the time of ownership.

Try and find one that a mature owner has had, with no mods and FSH. Dont be tempted by big wheels and all that other sh*te, it stinks of boy racer.

A performance car is better when looked after, buy a thrashed one and you could be footing some large repair bills.

Take your time and look about, there are plenty of genuine ones out there.

Yeah it is that one its a mint motor!

No reason not to buy it fella been looked after cos it was parked next to me at trax last year
