Help quickly MOT today!

Does a 1995 N reg Clio have two reverse lights or just one on the rear? The same goes for rear fog lights? I can only see one of each! MOT in a few hours!

One fog light on my Williams (1995 N) - well, was before Mat modded my rear lights and got me two! Renault were just cheap and didnt put a bulb in the place it should be (and left a plastic bar in its place, heh.

Although some of the bulb holders didnt have the contacts required either.

if u take the bulb out they cant fail it!

if its not there to test they have to put "not availiable" therefore its not a "fail"

my mate used to do mots so i know all the tricks oh and reverse lights it wont fail on any way!

Sure that works?

They dont check to see if bulbs are there or not.. they check to see if they work..

For example, no brake lights.. they cant not fail cus there are no bulbs - all they care about is there are no lights lighting up?

im serious! i know its f**ked up! if some thing is there and is broke then it fails!

i never had a prob cus my cars always seem to be ok! but this is wot he used to tell our mates before they came to the garage!

If the light is there it has to work you cant just take the bulb out, however it is not a requirement to have a reversing light for an MOT but if you do it has to work. Assuming same will apply for fog lights etc.

2 REVERSING.......never used the fog light but i will check as mine passed a mot last week.

Theyll be 1 fog light unless youve modded it or got Phase3 Rear Clusters, heh.

or just go buy sum bulbs! cost u 10p each and if u dont need 2 then u have spares! lol

Take your cluster off and have a look.. youll be able to see where there should be bulbs or not, and see if they have blown or not.

As Daz says check the clusters and just make sure any lights you have actually work then you wont have an issue.

Mine had one reverse light - Passed MOT. As far as I was aware, you only needed one.

Dunno about the fog light though, but imagine the same rules apply.

If anyone is wondering the Clio does infact have 2 reverse lights...I managed to replace the bulb just in time for the MOT. Now I have no lunch break :S

Doubt itd fail, a lot of cars only have one reverse light.

IT WILL FAIL IF THE LIGHT IS THERE AND IT DOESNT WORK!
