Help! urgent!

hi i got myself a new panel filter for my car today, and i was wondering if im trying to fit it to the right place? ive taken off the air box, but it seems to be sealed... and no way of openning it?

or is it the wrong place? am i soposed to be looking on the back of the engine where the airbox is connected 2?

please help

done it now cheers anyway, and must say i do feel a difference between standard filter, picks up alot more better
