Help with 182 service

Hi everyone,

I got a letter from my dealer today telling me that my 12,000mile service has been booked for the 6th December.

Is there anything I need to know about this? Do I need to get my own oil and if so can anyone tell me where from. Is there anything else I should buy myself to get cheaper/higher quality than dealer?

I replaced my air filter with a itg one at about 2000 miles so I know that I should tell them not to touch that.

Any other info would be great

On the same note, my 172 is due for a 24000 service. Cant afford the dealer to do it so im gonna do it myself.

What oil do u recomend and what is done on the 24k service?
Also, anyone know where i can get a haynes manual from?

Oilman on here sells oil. The Silkline pro 5-40 is highly recomended.
There no halnes manaul for the 2.0's its all easy to do anyway just check levels chnage oil and filters and thats about it.
