Help with cutting...

No im not feeling suicidal!

Doing the GFs car at the moment, and having done mine earlier in the week with the G, i decided to go straight to a cutting pad on hers (paint is terrible) and after a couple of passes on the bonnet there doesnt seem to be much difference.
Im using it with #83 which ive heard has a long work time, how long are we looking at here to break it down? Its fairly abrasive so i know it should work so i must be doing something wrong! (Although im working it until it clears...)

Cheers

Is it red (the car?)... Work the polish in untill it goes clear and the pannel should heat up a bit aswell... If not you will need more agressive polish (menzerna powergloss or something).

its black! Non-Metallic...total nightmare!

Just read there a DaveKG post from DW and he said 5 mins of working?
