help with radio

I have the standard radio and the signal was fine untill a few days ago, it just keeps cutting in and out when driving.

I have checked the arail and the headunit and all wires seem fine, is there anything else i should check?

I have searched for this but have had no joy.

Base of the ariel may be fucked... open boot and remove the back bit of the roof lining and see if you can see it

how do you know if the arail is broken,
it was fine one day and not the next and have not changed anything.
