Help with SEEM units???

Hi,

I have a tension gauge to measure tension of timing belts etc.. which displays the measurement taken in SEEM units which I think is used by french car manufacturers.

Does anyone know how to convert SEEM units to Newton's or something else that I would recognise?

I have searched the internet and cannot find anything!

Any help would be grate.
