HELP

hi my car makes a rubbing noise from the front when u turn left, jacked it up to see if it was the bearings the wheels dont wobble or make any noise when you spin the wheels, so went and got somone from a local garage to look at it they had a quick look and a drive an recon its the bearing, dont think he knows which one lol, also it would be £85 to fix it only a 1.2 mk1

i dont mind havin a go myself but i havent got a bearing press, can anyone help

I think you should get a 2nd opinion.

Bearings usually humm and whine not rub

Sure you havent got a broken front spring ?

similar noise in my 172 and it was the suspension top mounts. have to be replaced in pairs was about 120 quid
