does my car have to be serviced at a main dealer or can it be done at a small garage as long as they use renault approved parts?

As long as you have it serviced using genuine parts and the correct oil they have to honour your warranty IIRC.

And they have to be able to proove they used genuine renault parts

Thats the set requirement from renault as my dads garage services cars within warrenty periods.

IMO its more appealing for Joe Public when you go to sell the car to have the first service stamped by Renault.

lol, sorry i should have said that, i assumed he meant he was going to take it to a garage of some description just not the main dealer.
