  Clio RT 1998 Mk1 Ph3
Hi all, I’ve had my 1998 Clio Mk1 Ph3 for a few months now, and unfortunately I have got into an accident (completely other guy’s fault) and I’m trying to source some parts. A few issues I’ve come across so far are that it’s not an easy job!

I somehow found and bought a brand new genuine front wing, before realising that it may not exactly fit my car. I’m sure it’s been said on this forum before but I haven’t been able to find it - will phase 1/2 front wings fit on a ph 3 mk1? If anyone has a rundown on the differences in the phases that would be massively helpful. I’m 22 and know next to nothing about cars but I’m eager to learn and be able to fix her up!

Also if anyone has any ideas regarding the door - it seems hard to source one and idk if it’s worth trying to fix the existing one, as it’s quite severely bent in on itself where it meets the wing, plus the sealant no longer works, so it’s starting to get damp in there I no longer have that nostalgic old car smell lol.

Do you have a connection to the car? Otherwise, it seems a lot of effort to rescue a 27-year-old Clio. Granted, I'd probably do the same, if it was mine!

I would have thought that the insurance company would simply write it off. Is this why I assume, you're not going through them?

Yeah I’m just reluctant to part with it yet, I asked the insurance company to retain salvage so it will just be a cat N.
