i called couple renault services today.(i am in australia )i asked about swapping fast road cams which i am going to supply for them,they said you need to take the head off.is it true?i think we shouldnt.what we need to change the cams!!!regards

They may wish to check the valve protrusion past the head to make sure they do not hit the pistons.

no the head doesn't have to come off, just the rocker cover
